Tracey Lee Holmes is an accomplished Australian media professional with a diverse range of expertise in broadcasting, journalism, authorship, board membership, education, and consulting. With a Master’s degree in Communications from Griffith University in Brisbane, Australia, Tracey has honed her skills and knowledge to excel in the media industry. Her passion for cross-cultural communication led her to obtain a Certificate of Translation from Beijing Language and Culture University, further enhancing her global perspective.

With over 30 years of experience as an international anchor and journalist, Tracey has made her mark on the media landscape. She has worked for esteemed organizations such as ABC Australia, CNN International in Abu Dhabi, and CGTN in Beijing, solidifying her reputation as a trusted and respected voice in journalism. Additionally, Tracey has demonstrated her commitment to education and mentorship by designing and teaching post-graduate university courses. Her contributions extend beyond academia as she serves as a board member for national sports organizations and charities, making a significant impact on various societal fronts.

Currently, Tracey holds the position of Senior Journalist at ABC News, where she continues to deliver exceptional reporting and storytelling. She is also an accomplished presenter and producer of The Ticket podcast, engaging audiences with insightful discussions on sports-related topics. Furthermore, Tracey’s expertise has been recognized by Canberra University, where she serves as a Professorial Fellow of Sport, sharing her extensive knowledge with students and the academic community. Her dedication to inclusivity and representation is evident in her roles as a council member for Indigenous Football Australia and a board member of the Oceania Australia Foundation.
